MetaStock Data Feed Installing Basic
To setup MetaStock Data Feed Investor Plug-in properly, please follow the steps:
- Make sure MetaStock Data Feed Investor Plug-in subscription is active.
- Before installing MetaStock Investor Plug-in make sure your MetaStock software is installed eSignal edition real-time. Verify, you start setup.exe file from MetaStock CD, when MetaStock's installation program asks for data feed select eSignal.
- Make sure MetaStock Professional software is installed on your computer.
- Install MetaStock Data Feed Investor Plug-in.
- Start > All Programs > Equis International > Equis Real-time configuration. Click on Data Options Tab and uncheck Replace vendor-supplied time with computer system time and Adjust data record time (hours).
- Close MetaStock
- Start Program Investor and connect it.
- Start MetaStock
Important: You can only use one data feed to your MetaStock per eSignal feed set up. If you are going to use other data feed (such as MetaServer RT, Dynaloader, ComStock eSignal) please uninstall Investor’s Data Feed Investor Plug-in. The same is true, if you are going to use Investor’s Data Feed Investor Plug-in on your software, please remove other data feed from your computer.
